Florida Perinatal Center, LLC. (FPC) offers the latest in prenatal testing, genetic counseling and management of high-risk pregnancies. Our perinatologists – doctors who specialize in high-risk pregnancies – are recognized for their expertise for managing the complications of pregnancy.
Your primary obstetrician decides if your pregnancy is high risk and refers you to FPC. During your visit you will receive an in-depth consultation with one of our perinatologists to discuss your pregnancy needs and concerns. Though you may have serval appointments with your maternal-fetal medicine specialist during your pregnancy, your own obstetrician will continue to manage the pregnancy and deliver the baby. The maternal-fetal medicine specialist is usually not present at delivery, but is available for consultation as needed.
